Congratulations to the winners and participants of the 15th Annual Sustainable Santa Monica Student Poster Contest, presented by the City of Santa Monica and Sustainable Works. This year’s theme, Together, Let’s Create a Community Full of Kindness, Dignity and Equity, reinforces the importance of treating each other with kindness and recognizing that as human beings everyone is a valued member of our community and should be treated fairly and in a way that does not cause them harm.

The contest was open to all kindergarten through 12th grade students who live and/or attend school in Santa Monica.

This year’s contest was presented to 30 classes at public and private schools and after school programs in Santa Monica and reached over 800 students, resulting in 367 poster submissions.
