Congratulations to the winners and participants of the 16th Annual Sustainable Santa Monica Student Poster Contest, presented by the City of Santa Monica and Sustainable Works. This year’s theme, Celebrating 30 Years of Sustainability in Santa Monica, educated students about the City of Santa Monica’s many accomplishments since adopting the Sustainable City Plan in 1994.

The contest was open to all kindergarten through 12th grade students who live and/or attend school in Santa Monica.

This year’s contest was presented to a record 53 classes at public and private schools and after school programs in Santa Monica and reached over 1,300 students, resulting in 629 poster submissions.
