40 people gathered at HGA, a green certified business, to mix and mingle over libations and
delicious catering provided by Kafe K.
The All Shades of Green Mixer provides businesses with an opportunity to network, receive
updated information on resources, and have fun! Existing green businesses are also encouraged to
introduce new businesses to the growing Green Business Community and take advantage of free
services:
Attendees learned about Santa Monica’s Green Business Program and how to apply for the 28 th
annual Sustainable Quality Awards. The main goals of Santa Monica’s Sustainable City Plan were
also reviewed. HGA’s Sustainability expert presented on their local award winning green building
design, John Adams Performing Arts Center.
