Thank you for attending An Evening of Hope Film Screening event on May 21st where we screened three hopeful and inspiring films, Wild Hope: The Great Ocean Cleanup, From Soil to Soul: Food Justice in L.A. and Wild Hope: Protecting Paradise! This event was presented by the City of Santa Monica and Sustainable Works.

We had a great panel discussion with, From Soil to Soul Co-founder & Director, Margaret To, Senior Attorney at the Center for Biological Diversity, David Pettit and Supervising Civil Engineer at City of Santa Monica, Joshua Carvalho. The panel was moderated by Benjamin Kay, Adjunct Associate Professor, SMC Life Science Department & Life and Environmental Sciences Instructor at Santa Monica High School.

As always, our goal is to educate and follow that education up with action. Here are the action items we offered at the film screening. Please make a commitment to do something and share it with us; Post on Sustainable Works Facebook Wall, Tweet with our handle @sustainablework, connect at #sustainablesm or send us an email gina.garcia@sustainableworks.org
