The Business Greening Program is FREE to Santa Monica businesses via City of Santa Monica Office of Sustainability and the Environment subsidized funding.
What is the Business Greening Program?
The Business Greening Program helps businesses green their bottom line by helping them save money and resources through increased efficiency and employee education. We provide businesses with the tools they need to implement environmental actions and policies.
Sustainable Works performs onsite environmental assessments to assess current business practices and then provides targeted sustainable recommendations. We guide implementation by recommending new measures and providing useful resources and tools needed to implement environmental actions and policies. Once businesses successfully implement targeted recommended actions, we help them receive recognition via Green Certification programs or local awards.
Although our services are free or low cost in many areas due to grants and subsidies, businesses may require monetary investments for such things as efficient lighting and non-toxic cleaners.
