Residential Greening Program : Volunteer

Did your experience in the Green Living Workshops change your life? Would you like to get more involved with Sustainable Works? Well there Sustainability to the residents of Santa Monica and Los Angeles.

RGP Instructor –Are you interested in learning more and educating others on issues of Sustainability while improving your public speaking skill Once you have attended all meetings of the 6 week Green Living Workshop you can train to become a GLW instructor. The requirements include:

Have general knowledge of environmental and green living topics.
Preliminary interview to be considered for the instructor training program.
Attend the Green Living Workshop (GLW) in the past 12 months.
Submit a completed Sustainability Survey.
Be available to teach two GLWs, one to begin within six weeks of being trained.
At the trainer's discretion, trainee may be selected to voluntarily lead future GLWs.
Dedicate six to seven hours a week during training.

Internships – Are you interested in learning how an environmental non‐profit works? Are you interested in assisting with the day to day opera intern. As an intern you would assist the Residential Greening Program Director with community outreach, database entry, Give Aways supply
