1. Purchase rain barrels by December 7, 2012 - 9:00PM

Barrels cost $100 each, of which, $25 is tax-deductable (benefits Sustainable Works).

Rebates for Santa Monica residents are up to $200 per barrel, covering the item cost, planning, installation, parts and labor. Maximum of 8 barrels per property. Please review the Rebate Information and Requirements before placing your order.

Rebate Amounts

The City of Santa Monica Rain Barrel Rebate Program covers the following:

Up to $200 per rain barrel (starting January 2013, the rebate will be $100 per barrel).

Maximum of 8 barrels per property.

Rebates cover the costs for rain barrels, design plans, installation labor, parts, and materials. Example: you pay $100 for a rain barrel and you pay a gutter installer $75 to install it, you get a rebate for $175.
