Student Sustainability Workshop Leaders

A wonderful opportunity for students to help educate their peers about important environmental issues and solutions while enhancing their own leadership, public speaking and organizational skills.  Workshop Leadership is offered to all students who have successfully completed the program as Workshop Members and who are willing to accept the responsibilities that go along with the position.
To ensure student success and program consistency, Workshop Leaders are supervised and mentored by the Student Program Director throughout the length of the program.

Workshop Leader Responsibilities

  • Following meeting agenda

  • Your Content Leading group discussions

  • Highlighting information about the week’s environmental topic

  • Facilitating interactive activities and games

  • Facilitating interactive activities and games

  • Recommending specific solutions that reduce participants’ environmental impact

  • Tracking participants’ attendance and completion of program requirements

  • Providing encouragement and support to participants
